The Marks of Secret #1

The Marks of Secret is the fourth book in The Underland series. It starts with Gregor AKA the warrior going down to the Underland for is echolation lessons with Ripred, his gnawer (rat) friend. Ripred tells him about yet another prophecy and he visits his mom in the hospital. His mom was infected with plague and hasn't healed yet. After that he goes and finds his little sister, Boots. He finds Boots with his friends Luxa, the queen. They have dinner and afterwards Luxa takes him to meet her nibbler (mouse) friends, Cevian. When they find him, he is dead!!!!

The Fingertips of Duncan Dorfman (Again one and only)

A/N: This book had three POVs I will use black for Duncan blue for April and red for Nate

At the beginning of this book Duncan Dorfman moves to Pennsylvania and finds out he has a secret power.
Meanwhile, April is struggling to show her sports-crazy family that Scrabble is a sport. While April is dealing with that, Nate Saviano is trying to get back his normal life. All of there lives collide at the YST (Youth Scrabble Tournament).

The Selection (The one and only installment which was in the middle of the book so this will make absolutely no sense.)

The Selection
This section of The Selection starts with America in the women's room talking to Adele. Later on, America finds out that her old boyfriend Aspen is working at the palace. This distracts her, causing her and Prince Maxon to get into a fight. Aspen comes in a makes her feel better. This makes her question if she should stay at the palace. Everything is back to normal until there is a midnight  rebel attack. With the help of her maids, America makes it to the safety compartment and survives the attack.
The next day, America is allowed to call home. She tells her parents she is safe a May thinks she loves Maxon.

THE END

New!!!

Coming VERY soon is a new type of post. Now that school has started again I have been very busy trying to juggle homework, and extra-curricular activities allowing me very little time to write stories (SORRY READERS!!!) and add new posts to my blogs. Fortunately, I am usually free on the week-ends and the end of the day on Friday.   Then, last night, I had a LIGHT-BULB!  (I just love having light-bulbs.)

It was that, since for homework I have to keep a reading journal, I can just put my installments on here.
So I will do that.

I've had about four weeks of school and sometimes I write more than one passage so I'll post all of the ones I've done so far. I won't post the ending questions which are required because I they are stupid sounding and will probably ruin the entire books. I can and will fix them up to look a little like a book review though. Please keep in mind that there will be at least five or more installments for each book I read if I write from beginning to end. I might also repeat myself quite a few times as I am sometimes more ahead in the book then I write, (I'm writing chapters one through ten and so on each week) so I might post more about the part that I am in at the moment and you will find out about it a couple weeks later again. If I forget to post them for a week or two, the next posts will have all of  them.

Weekly Book Review: Divergent

Sorry I haven't posted in a while!!!!

Divergent

By Veronica Roth

The book Divergent takes place in a futuristic Chicago where there are five factions. Each faction was formed to prevent war.
The factions are:
·         Abnegation
·         Amity
·         Candor
·         Dauntless
·         Erudite
Abnegation are the selfless. They wear gray clothes and look the same to prevent drawing attention to themselves. Amity are the peaceful. They believe they should have no leader and think it is okay to deceive if it will keep the waters calm. Candor are the honest. They believe that you must tell the truth no matter what.  Thinking that the truth is black and white, that’s what they wear. Dauntless are the brave. They wear black, tattoos, and have piercings. Daredevil stunts are their favorite. Erudite are the intelligent. They believe knowledge is the key.
Beatrice and her brother Caleb are sixteen years old. That means today is the aptitude test. They will find out which faction they most belong in, and choose it or another faction during the choosing ceremony. Beatrice takes the test and has three factions available. This means she is Divergent. She has an aptitude for Abnegation, Dauntless, and Erudite. What will she choose? Read the book to find out!
This book is highly recommended for YA readers who like futuristic books with adventure and twists.
Warning! This book included the deaths of many beloved characters.

Your Weekly Review: The Awakening

A few weeks ago I did the Summoning as a review. This is the second book in the trilogy.
The Awakening
My Review: Best book in a month at least!!
Another Bookworms Review: Sooooo good!
                                                             Summary:
The Awakening is about Chloe, a runaway from Lyle House. Now she is cooped up in a cell by the Edison Group and, according to the ghosts (and demi-demon), she better escape soon before she turns into a ghost! The next day Dr. Davidoff walks in with another Lyle Housemate's mother, who is on the board of directors, Mrs. Enright. They say that Simon, a runaway they hadn't caught yet thanks to Derek, was diabetic and needed insulin withing seventy-two hours or he would die. Since Chloe was so close to Simon and Derek they asked Chloe if she knew any rondevu  points where Simon or Derek would be. Chloe knew they capture them and maybe even kill Derek, so she came up with fake spots. At dinner, she finds out the obvious, they weren't there. She says that they might be at a warehouse where they were hiding from the Edison Group that night. They ask her where, but she says she has to see it to remember. The next day Dr. Davidoff, Mrs. Enright, Tori,  Rae, Dr. Fellows (AKA Aunt Lauren), Mike the security guard, and Chloe set out to find the "spot". When they get there Mrs. Enright says she will take Chloe to find Simon instead of Chloe Aunt. Mrs. Enright is very mean (she is called the B word often in the trilogy) to Chloe and Aunt Lauren ends up coming to her rescue and helping her escape. She and Tori eventually find Tori with the help of Liz, a dead Lyle Housemate whom Chloe ( a necromancer) can talk too. What happens next? Read the book or contact me on Google+ to find out!

Your Weekly Review: Slated

Sorry this is one week late!
Slated

My Review: Amazing!
Another Bookworms Opinion: Great!

                                              Summary:
The book Slated is about a girl named Kyla who's memory has been erased. This is because she has done a bad thing. (Is what they tell her) She is given a chance to start her life over. Finally she gets adopted by a family late. She is adopted late because of her nightmares. Memories? It can't be! Her memory has been erased. Later, she finds out she draws better with her left hand. No! She's right handed. People start disappearing. Including her art teacher. What is happening to them? Are they  slating innocent people? I really mixed up the book so if you want to know what happened, read the book!

The Summoning
      My Review: Great book!
                                      *This is just my opinion.

Summary: I don't want to give too much away, but..... The main characters are Tori, Chloe (author), Liz, Derek, Simon, and Rae. (Lyle Housemates) Tori is a witch. Chloe is a necromancer. Derek is a werewolf. Simon is a sorcerer. Rae is a half demon (fire). They are all supernaturals. At the beginning  of the book Chloe sees her first ghost in quite a few years. Once she tries to jump out a second floor window to run away from the ghost and kicks a teacher, she is sent to Lyle House, a so called group home for disturbed kids. At Lyle House another ghost tries to tell her to unlock the door. She soon finds out that Lyle House has some secrets. She is a necromancer. The rest of the Lyle House kids are supernaturals too. Derek and Simon have a father that can help them!  How does it end? Read the book to find out! (P.S. If you don't want to read and want a full summary of the book email or Google+ me for the answer!)
* This review is just of the first book.
